Want to have the hippest Save the Date magnets for your wedding?!
by Grace on July 15, 2011 in Brides and Weddings
When we saw Adam Sowalsky and Jessica Fine’s fun Save the Date Magnet, complete with a QR code, we thought they were on to something!
A QR code is a barcode that can be “scanned” by a Smartphone. The phone does require a special QR code app in order to read it, but the apps are easily downloadable, free of charge from your Smartphone. QR codes give you the ability to provide your wedding guests with extra information by linking to your wedding website or to get creative by linking to a Youtube video of you and your soon-to-be spouse recording a special wedding message! The QR code Adam and Jessica used redirects to a webpage with hidden content they will develop especially for those who snap the QR code.
QR codes can be added to any product at PaperSnaps.com. Adam told us “we selected PaperSnaps because we were drawn to the well-crafted templates. Your designing software made adding a QR code really easy to do, and since your existing templates were already great, it was a no-brainer to us.”
Creating the QR code is easy! There are tons of websites out there that will let you create a code for free! A QR code generator that we have used before is http://qrcode.kaywa.com/. It was easy and quick. So impress all of your friends by how “with-it” you are by using QR codes on your Save the Date Magnets today!
